As election day approaches, the future of our community and country is at stake. The polls suggest that Keir Starmer may be our next Prime Minister. If that happens, your values and priorities will need a strong voice in Parliament.
As your Conservative candidate for Bridgwater & Burnham I promise to be a powerful advocate on your behalf, no matter who is in power in Westminster.
If Keir Starmer becomes Prime Minister, I will hold him accountable, standing firm for our values: lower taxes, more police, controlled immigration, and common sense in education. I’ll oppose policies that don't serve our community’s interests.
I know my party has made mistakes. I know you feel frustrated and I’ve often been as frustrated as you.
But voting Labour or Reform risks handing Starmer a supermajority, similar to Tony Blair’s, leaving him little incentive to listen to your concerns. You’ll be handing Labour a blank cheque to do whatever they want, courtesy of your savings.
Applying tax to your state pension, local businesses, and your home. Introducing French-style union laws, banning flexible work and risking jobs. Pushing through a National ULEZ Scheme and Pay-Per-Mile Road Tax, forcing drivers to pay, just like in Labour London.
The Lib Dems will align with Labour’s agenda. And Reform can't win here in Bridgwater. The only way to ensure your voice is heard is to vote Conservative.
