I've officially launched my 2025 competition to find Bridgwater & Burnham’s Favourite Independent Shops.
We are fortunate to have so many wonderful independent businesses locally, but they need our support, and this competition is my small way of playing my part by celebrating and raising their profiles.
Please nominate your most-loved local shops, which will be shortlisted for a public vote.
With 15 categories available for nominations this year, there is a wide array of local businesses that can be recognised.
Nominations are open now and will close on Sunday 16th March. After the nomination period ends, a shortlist of the top shops will be compiled and voting will begin, running from Friday 21st March to Sunday 6th April. The winners will be announced on Friday 11th April.
